5-a-side Summer Soccer

BCRFC Rovers have got together with other local clubs to offer a local out-of-season competition. Primary Soccer is a 5-a-side summer football competition for primary school kids. Primary Soccer has been organised by David Howard who was also responsible for starting up the very successful summer 5-a-side program played at Koola Oval for ages 6-10.

The BCRFC Club is happy and excited to support this “new” competition as we know it will be extremely well run and organised and as a club we encourage you support it. It is also a great opportunity for your child to improve and further develop his or her Football playing skills over the summer period.

What makes this 5-a-side competition different to any of the other 5-a-side competitions in the local area is instead of the all the fees going back to the organisers or club that run the competition, part of the cost per player with Primary Soccer comes back to the club participating. This helps us to provide better equipment for our players so in effect the benefit comes back to you, our players.

So far the clubs that will be involved in this completion are:

  • Mt Colah
  • Wahroonga
  • Bannockburn Clarke Rd
  • West Pymble
  • Kissing Point
  • North Turramurra
  • Sacred Heart Pymble

This is a good spread across the local area and shows the enthusiasm for this initiative.

The competition runs from late September 2013 through to the end of February 2014 breaking for school holidays and is geared for the U6-U12 (all boys, all girls or mixed)/G12 age groups.

You choose either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Games are half hour long kicking off between 4:30pm and 6:30pm.
Cost $120 per player.
All games have an official referee.
You can enter a team or as an individual and the organisers will find you a team.
Registrations open this Sunday the 28th July and should be completed directly with Primary Soccer. The BCRFC Club will be not taking the registrations as it is easier for both the club and the member to register direct with Primary Soccer.
