Bannockburn parents – can you assist?

Chances are good that some Bannockburn parents and players may have witnessed the following incident at Auluba. It is reproduced here to assist police.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a child was approached during a soccer match at Auluba Reserve, South Turramurra on the Saturday. The victim, a 12-year old girl, was approached by a man near the toilet block and asked if she ‘wanted some lollies’. The girl ran back to her grandmother, who saw a male running away from the area.
Police were called some time after the incident and despitea search of the surrounding area the male was not located. He is describe as being of caucasian appearance, about 40 to 50 years old, bald and with heavy tattoos.
